Meet Your Legislators on Monday, March 6th at 5pm

The League of Women Voters of Wayland invites you to Meet Your Legislators on Monday, March 6that 5pm on Zoom.

Wayland has two new state legislators as a result of redistricting following the 2020 census:  Senator Jamie Eldridge replaces Becca Rausch and state Representative David Linsky will represent precincts 2 and 3 while Representative Carmine Gentile will continue to represent precincts 1 and 4.  With the help of their aides, the League of Women Voters of Wayland will host a virtual “Meet Your New Legislators” on Monday, March 6th at 5pm.  Click here to register!

This is your opportunity to ask those burning questions of the people who represent you in the statehouse.  Why this and not that?  What about that issue, be it the environment, voting, criminal justice, taxes, or traffic?  Each legislator will have 5 to 10 minutes to introduce himself and talk about his legislative agenda for the next two years.  You will then have the opportunity to ask questions.  Iryna Priester will moderate the forum and Kaat Vander Straeten is our technical guru.

A recording of the forum will be available on WayCAM, the Wayland League website, and the Energize Wayland website.

Upcoming dates for your calendar:

  • Thursday, April 13th:  Virtual Candidates Night
  • Thursday, April 20th:  Town Meeting Issues Forum
